The Hyundai Everdigm ECD40 Top Hammer Drilling Rigs come with Tier 3, Cummins or Caterpillar Engines. The Hydraulic Drifter offered with this model is the Hyundai EHD185 which offers high frequency drilling at 18.5kW.
Features on the ECD Range are more basic when it comes to the function controls and therefore these rigs are offered at a slightly lower price point. The ECD range of Rock Drills are great for those customers who just want a basic rig without all of the electronic componentry.
The ECD40E also offers a 211 cfm / 152 psi (6m3/min - 10.5 bar) Air Compressor and has a recommended Hole Diameter range of 76mm - 102mm with T38 or T45 Rock Tools. The maximum hole depth is 25.6m with the Roller Magazine ARC or 22m with the Rod Rack ARC (optional).
