The Marchetti Sciacca DMT set of adaptors is used to advance the DMT blade into the soil with a drilling rig and penetration rods.
The  set is composed of three parts:  (1) One upper adaptor connecting the drill rods (ɸ 76 mm, 2-3/8 API regular) to the penetration rods (ɸ ext 50 mm) (2) One slotted adaptor (ɸ ext 50 mm) for lateral exit of the cable (3) One lower adaptor connecting the penetration rods (ɸ ext 50 mm) to the DMT blade.
