Drill Connex offer some basic components for those customers wanting to custom build their own Drill Mast/s.
The best starting point is with the lightweight Feed System Component Kit.
This basic kit includes the Anodised Aluminium Profile, Carraige Plate, Rock Drill, Feed Motor, Feed Chain and housings for the Feed Chain.
Drill Connex offer supporting components for customers who wish to build their own Drill Mast attachment.
Carrier units for such Drill Mast Attachments include Excavators, Mini-loaders, and Skid Steer units.
The Component Kit includes an anodised Aluminium Profile (mast), Carriage Plate for the Doofor Rock Drill Drifter, Feed Motor, Feed Chain and Housings for the Feed Chain. The ground support module, Hydraulic Valve Block, Casing and Hydraulic Hoses are also pre-designed for a convenient drill mast construction.
A protective cover for the drill steel is also available.
The Feed System Component Kit (FSCK) may be used as a backbone of a Hydraulic Drill Attachment system, and it should be installed and constructed beyond this point by a professional/qualified engineering company or qualified person.
The FSCK scope of delivery does not include any Power Unit, Dust Control System or Safety Features that may be required by law. These features remain the responsibility of the installing company.
