The Pagani Geotechnical DS-44 Sampler Kit is used with a dynamic penetrometer and is ideal for almost all Environmental Surveys (up to and over 15 metres of depth). The Pagani DS-44 Sampler is a large wall sampler with a piston with pressure driving. The piston guarantees the taking of soil at the desired / targeted depth.
Pressure driving minimises the undesired effect of the heat increase typical of rotative sampling.
The DS44 sampler is equipped with an inner clear PVC Sampler Holder Liner that can be sealed on both ends, guaranteeing soil pick up and lab delivery with liquids and dissolved gases for chemical testing.
The Liner can be cut to analyse the samples at intermediate depths, directly on site thanks to the stainless-steel disassembly and cutting bench which is supplied with the kit that can be mounted onto the side of the Pagani penetrometer.
PVC Sample Liner is 44.5mm in diameter.
Plastic End caps come in Red and Green colours to identify the top and bottom of the sample. Green for the top. Comes with a PVC Basket to hold the sample inside the liner.
