This Resemin Long-hole Drilling Rig is designed for applications such as sub-level stoping, sub-level caving, benching, chimney drilling with the VCR system, auxiliary and survey drilling and cable bolting for small sections up to 6.0m x 5.5m.
The Raptor 55-2R has a hydraulic boom with automatic parallelism and two rotation units that allow drilling very close to both walls of the mine section, which not only reduces dilution but also facilitates the drilling of parallel holes with good visibility for the operator from the cabin.
The Raptors baricenter system for automatically synchronizing the drilling and rotation axes facilitates the drilling of radial and parallel shots with shorter positioning times. Great stability with a maximum drilling length up to 35m and hole diameters up to 102 mm (reaming to 127mm).
The Raptor 55-2R is equipped with the latest technology: 14+1 / 12+1 / 10+1 bar magazine and AMLH System.
The Raptors 8000 series feed with its two Stinger provides the best stability to reduce any deviation.
