The 60mm Hollow Stem Backpack Portable Rock Coring Drill Kit is ideal for conducting exploration in remote locations and the portable unit can be utilised for a wide range of applications, such as Geological and Mineral Investigations and also for retrieving Ice Cores in colder regions.
The "loose Materials Bit" is designed for use in Cohesive Soils and loose earth materials to establish a borehole prior to utilising a Core Bit.
Diamond Core Bits are capable of drilling through a large array of hard subsurface materials, including Rock, Hardpan Soils, and Cemented Gravels.
For increased productivity and extended longevity, an optional "Sabre Core Bit" is also available with solid carbide cutting teeth that are easy to maintain by filing between each tooth.
Stainless steel components resist rust and are easily decontaminated for high-quality sampling
Bayonet couplings make loading and unloading of the sampler easy
The unit is capable of reaching depths of up to 20 meters
